Course Description
Computerized Design & Animation I (CADA I) introduces students to the technical language and techniques of CADA. It offers students an opportunity to experience the dynamics of drawing and design. Students will gain an insight into the engineering, mechanical and architectural professions. Topics include discussion on computer configurations, software, and operating systems, as well as drawing fundamentals and theory.
Using Hands on AutoCAD, AutoCAD 2007 students will learn concepts, practices, and computer commands essential to creating computerized mechanical and architectural drawings and 3D models. Students will learn how use 3D Studio Max 8 to create simple computerized animations for realistic presentations. Hands-on exercises and project assignments are used to reinforce the learning experience and contribute to the student’s portfolio.
